Okay, so today I went to Anime Club as usual on every Thursdays to watch anime but unstead today we had a SSBM (Super Smash Bro. Melee) Tournament.  The entry was 5 bucks, pocket change for almost anyone.  So I signed up and payed up for the tournament to see if my SSB skillz were up to the challenge of REAL people not some AI.

     So the tournament started as four people facing each other with only 3 lives at first.  After that my match came up.  I play as my favorite and best character: Link.  It was Link vs Roy vs Pikachu vs Mario (I think).  Well anyway, to make a long fight short, I won with still 2 lives left leaving everyone I beat in complete hatred towards me.

     Other battles came and I of course cheered my friends on.  Some were funny, some were sad, and some were just plain evil like people ganging up on one person. >:(

I watched the battles and was impressed that there was really good people here, some were experts that forgot how to play it well and ended up losing.

     But there was this battle that I will not forget: the ultimate Zelda battle.  It was me playing as Link vs Young Link vs Zelda vs Ganondorf; can you say ultimate pwnage?  Anyway, the fought got underway, I was whooping ass as usual and ended up fighting against Ganondorf in the end but still I beat him and showed him his place.

    In the very end I actually came to the finals to face off against Link's number one enemy... himself except younger!!!  That's right, in the finals it was Link vs Young Link to take home the crown as Anime Club's SSBM Champion.  And I have to tell you, this kid was good especially with Young Link.  But the truth was, I still beat him and like the Harry Potter commercial said, "Somethings come better with age."  True dat, true dat.

     So I was really happy cause I just proved to myself and a few others that I was the Link Master in that region and no one has beaten me yet in SSBM in a one on one or a melee match.  (It proves that I have too much free time on my hands and I have no life =P)  Plus I won 30 bucks for coming in first place while the second got 10 bucks.  Other people wanted to play but I was done... and besides, I had to get home.  So I'm happy, other people were happy I won (Cause Link kicks major ass), and I hope you're happy reading this exciting post.

     Well it seems my time is up yet again so I have to head off into the landscape like our favorite hero does and disappear until he is needed again.
